Any Send

Any Send is an application that can be used to share files over WiFi. If you’re in the living room on your PC and you want to send an image to Julia who is in the bedroom on her Macbook, you can very easily and very quickly do so. As the developer explained, it takes but a second to send a file with Any Send.

Several platforms are supported by Any Send. You can use it on your Windows-powered PC, on your OS X-powered machine, and on your Android-powered smartphone or tablet. At the time of writing this, there’s no iPhone or iPad version. But if you visit the official Any Send and enter your email, the developer will let you know when it will release Any Send for iPhone and iPad.

Installing Any Send on a Windows-powered machine is an effortless task. You need to download an installer, run it, and then click through the instructions presented by a setup wizard. When you’re done and you run Any Send for the first time, a tutorial will show you just how easy it is to send a file to someone.

Access to Any Send’s functionality is done via the icon in the system tray. Left click the icon to be presented with a list of people you can send files to. Left click the icon to be presented with a context menu that allows you to access the Preferences menu, view the aforementioned tutorial, view all received files, and exit the application.

The file sharing functionality Any Send has to offer is great all by itself. The fact that sharing files is an incredibly simple matter only makes things better. Any Send is a great tool for sending and receiving files over WiFi.
